I am an ordained, non-denominational minister officiating weddings at many gorgeous Island locations.
Every wedding that I have had the honor to officiate has been a very personal and memorable expression of each couple's love for one another. It is a precious opportunity in which you can create your dreams together, and, if desired, sharing these moments with your family and friends.
I can perform your wedding ceremony in a park, forest, beach, home, garden, church, resort, boat or ferry. It can be just the two of you, a small or large wedding. It can be casual or formal.
I can assist you with your marriage license. I can provide several ceremonies for you to choose from or to use as a reference to write your very own. I can help you plan your wedding months ahead or can be available on short notice. If you elope, I can provide 2 witnesses for your ceremony, as required by law.
I have lived on San Juan Island for the past 20 years and can assist you with information on the many beautiful locations available here. I can also suggest individuals and businesses in the community that offer services you may need: i.e., singers, musicians, photographers, caterers, lodging.
My fee varies depending on the size of your wedding, the location, and whether you would choose to have me at your rehearsal to assist you with the wedding procession logistics.

I have lived in San Juan Island for the past 20 years with my husband and daughter. For many years I have been a counselor and spiritual advisor for adults and children, individually as well as for small and large group settings. I also lead and facilitate workshops in the areas of physical/mental well-being and spiritual growth. For 20 years I have also owned two successful businesses with my husband on San Juan Island: Dance Happy, teaching all forms of dance to ages 2 - teens and adults and Bill & Rita Ament's Summer Creative Arts Day Camps.
As a non-denominational minister I have performed many weddings where couples come from two different religions or faiths. We have always been able to incorporate both, so that you create together your meaningful expression. Officiating and being part of assisting couples in creating such a special day is something that brings true joy to my heart.
