Gambrell is now Coldwell Banker SJI Designated Broker

Tim Gambrell has become Coldwell Banker San Juan Islands’ Designated Broker. Gambrell became a licensed Realtor® on San Juan Island in 1986, earning his Associate Broker’s license in 1988 and has added Graduate Realtor® Institute to his list of credentials. He has also been trained for Professional Standards and Grievance Committees, is designated as a Professional Standards Administrator and maintains the highest level of Business Ethics.
Since becoming a licensed Realtor®, Gambrell has been President for the San Juan County Association of Realtors® (SJCAR), State Director for the SJCAR, Vice President of SJCAR, and is the current Association Executive for the SJCAR, a position he has filled for 14 of the last 19 years. In community service, Gambrell has been Chair for the Town of Friday Harbor Planning Commission and served with the Town of Friday Harbor Fire Department and San Juan EMS.
Merri Ann Simonson has been the Designated Broker for the last two years and is now developing the role of Sales Manager for Coldwell Banker San Juan Islands. This role will allow her to focus on internal education and training for our team, and will allow her to resume originating sales and listings as a licensed Realtor®.
Simonson's prior experience in the banking industry, working as a Realtor® for ten years before becoming Broker and then serving as the Designated Broker will all enhance her performance in this position. When combined with Gambrell, we feel we are once again raising the standard for real estate professionalism within the San Juan Islands.
