The Westcott Bay Institute is growing and seeks an Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for the Institute's consistent achievement of its mission and reports to the Board of Directors to carry out plans & policies.
Responsibilities: Provide leadership in developing organizational & financial plans, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the community and artists. Assure that the organization has a long-range strategy to achieve its mission. Oversee and expand current fundraising activities and pursue funding opportunities with local government. Promote volunteer participation. Maintain official records to ensure compliance with state and federal nonprofit regulations, maintain sound financial practices and execute legal documents.
Applicants should have experience working with the public &the Friday Harbor community, knowledge of the arts, some development and / or management experience, excellent communication skills and should be a good multi-tasker.
