Coming Changes

Now that the Fair, the eclipses and the Perseids have passed, it's time to wind down and celebrate the beginning of the harvest and a summer well lived! As we have seen, the violent opposition of Mars and Uranus have sparked some icky stuff in the world, and no doubt in our personal lives as well. It's time to settle the score and balance the scales.
Mars, the instigator, moves from Virgo into harmonious Libra, and its strength will diminish as it is not naturally happy in that sign since it rules energetic Aries. Mars being in its opposite sign will force things to slow down and be thought out rather than flailing around stirring stuff up. During this time, the Mutable signs will feel almost instant relief (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces). Y'all chill out now!
Aries (March 21 - April 20):
Mars sails into your sector of relationships this week, and you may feel a slump energywise. You have been involved in so many things lately that you may want to just hole up and stay quiet for a few days. The laid-back side of yourself is showing, and this will help you to relax and wind down.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20):
Fiery Mars flies into your sector of health and work, brightening your spirits for balancing the power in your life. If you have a small animal, you may want to keep an eye on it for an illness. Mars is the traditional planet of inflammation or infections, so if your pet seems under the weather in the coming weeks, have it seen to.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20):
Passionate Mars flies into your sector of creativity, and with great relief! Now you get to have some fun, go somewhere for a respite, or start that new project. You especially feel the exit of Mars from Virgo, where it wreaked havoc earlier this month! Your mind will be eased by Mars' presence in your fellow air sign Libra.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22):
Energetic Mars now enters your sector of Home, and anything that was left undone in terms of a remodel or a delay in progress now has the opportunity to get finished! You will be happy with the results, and ready to have folks over for a friendly gathering. Rest first, though! You've been a busy little crab!
Leo (July 23 - August 22):
Mars leaves your sector of finances and sails into your sector of learning/communication. You will feel greater ease in these areas, especially if you are engaged in classes or looking for a new job. Some of the restrictions imposed by Saturn in your area of finances will be relieved, and you will be able to get better organized.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22):
Now you can count your change...Mars moves into your sector of finances, and the results will be arriving in the next few weeks! Whatever it is you have needed will be provided one way or another, so have faith. This has been an incredibly active month for you, not without some kind of pain or another, but as the month closes, relief is yours.
Libra (September 23 - October 22):
Fiery Mars enters your sign this week, and you are provided the extra energy you need to close a deal, end something that has been annoying you, or solve a mystery. None too soon! One by one, Mars, Venus and Mercury will be touring your sign in the coming weeks, so prepare for the spotlight and get your hair done!
Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):
Energetic Mars enters your sector of Endings, bringing something to a conclusion. It may be that someone is leaving your life, or that you are selling something you no longer need. Mars will speed up the process, and the coming weeks will bring a sense of closure.
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20):
Finally, Mars leaves your sector of career and enters your sector of goals and friendships, setting you up for a stellar close to the month. You have certainly had your ups and downs this month, but if you have managed to keep your wits about you, you should be seeing good results. Being the consummate sports lover, the Olympics may inspire you to once again ignite your engines of excellence.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19):
Mars flies into your sector of home this week, and in the coming weeks Mercury and Venus will follow, giving your home environment a special glow. What a nice way to say goodbye to the summer that was ages in coming! Enjoy the rest of the sunny days with barbecues for no reason, the harvest of your hard work, and the joy of having good friends!
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19):
Mars blasts into your sector of expansion, travel and spirituality. Wow. In the coming weeks, Venus and Mercury will join Mars there, igniting your urge to search distant shores and an opportunity to tune into a higher love, whatever that means to your eccentric mind. Enjoy these days and head out to relax!
Pisces (February 20-March 20):
Well. Fiery Mars is the first to break away from your sector of relationships, entering your sector of intimacy. You are seeking balance, and since you've already won the gold medal for diving deep, you get to come up for air in the coming weeks! Watch for a general sense of well being and the feeling of being able to let the guard down. Whew. What a month it's been!
