New Years 2005! It's whacky, clever, and hilarious it's just plain fun. Witsend is back with their second New Years Eve Gala at the San Juan County Fairgrounds. The Witsend Players kick off the evening with the hilarious KWIT radio show. This year, Kevin Sharp, alias Teddy Deane is hosting the big show from "Caesar's Salad Palace " ala Las Vegas. Along with the show you can try your luck at poker, black jack and roulette.

The big "Lemon Drop " band will play into the New Year and surprise guest artists will pop out through out the evening. Confetti, balloons and a big surprise mark midnight. Yummy Treats and Libations, with and without alcohol are available.

Tickets are on sale at, Sandpebble in Friday Harbor. Price is $25.00 in advance or $35.00 at the door. Ticket Sales limited. Tickets include tokens for gaming. Ticket price does not include food or drink. More tokens available and all proceeds from additional tokens go towards Scholarships. Prizes will be awarded for the players with the most tokens at the end of the night.

Quotes from last years party goers:

-"I NEVER GO out for New Years, but decided to give it a try - Best New Years I've ever had -can't wait till next year."

- "The band was sooooo hot- I could have danced for days."

- "Those K.W.I.T Players are really nuts! - but I like em'"

- "I couldn't believe we were at the fair grounds it looked fabulous, please, please do it again next year!"

- etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Don't miss out- this could be our last big New Years Show- Vegas Style. Remember, what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas.

P.S. Don't forget Vegas can be Hawaiian shirts and it can be sequins and heels because in Vegas anything goes! Or just about!

A witty radio show kicked off the festivities at the Witsend New Year's Eve party at San Juan County Fairground building Dec. 31, 2003. LIghts, decorations and heat created a warm and inviting party atmosphere.

More than 300 people gathered to drink beer and champagne, nibble on snacks and dance to the Lemon Drops. Father and Baby Time rode in on a red MG. A guest appearance by Elvis rounded out the evening. Part of the proceeds benefited the Animal Protection Society, Dollars for Scholars and the San Juan County Fair.

Witsend Presents is a production group made up of over twenty local performers and technicians. It was formed by Keith Busha and Susan Williams. In 2003 they staged "Agnes of God" and created The K.WIT Radio Players, who perform live in the style of an old time radio show.

Witsend Presents: is interested in a diverse performance schedule featuring local talent in plays, and musical venues. Whenever possible they wish to encourage philanthropic groups to participate with their endeavors for the benefit of our community. They encourage others with a passion for the performing arts to contact them.
