Stillpoint School student is semifinalist in state Letters about Literature contest

Nylah Pieples, a 5th-grade student at Stillpoint School in Friday Harbor, is one of the 20 semifinalists in the state's 2018 Letters About Literature contest. This year, 1,132 Washington students in grades 4 through 6 submitted letters in Level 1.

This is the 25th annual Letters About Literature writing competition.  Washington state's competition is coordinated by the Secretary of State's Office. The Library of Congress Center for the Book sponsors the competition. 

Stillpoint School staff says, the Stillpoint School community is very proud of Nylah’s academic accomplishment.
