Peak season surcharge begins May 1 Featured

It's that time of year, when friends who ride ferries come in handy. Beginning Tuesday, May 1, 2018, through September 30, 2018, the Washington State Ferries peak season surcharge will go into effect for single vehicle and driver fares. Multi-ride products and passenger fares are not affected by this seasonal increase.

A way to reduce your ferry travel cost is to share a multi-fare ticket book. For example the peak season fare for a car and driver from Anacortes to San Juan Island is $65.60. A five-ride pass costs $182.75 which equals $36.55 for each ride.
