Heroin, meth, cash, and packaging materials found in suspect's car

Large quantities of methamphetamines, heroin, scales, packaging items and a large amount of cash were recovered from a car after a traffic stop Monday, October 9, 2017 on Orcas Island.  Justin Langworthy, a suspect in a reported October 8 drug deal, was arrested after being pulled over in a traffic stop on Mount Baker Road.  Langworthy, who is a resident of Orcas Island,  has multiple felony drug warrants out of California as well as a suspended driver’s license. He was placed under arrest for the warrants and DWLS.

During a search, he was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. He was taken into custody and transported to San Juan Island where he is being held on his warrants and pending drug charges.

After a judge signed a search warrant, his car was searched and the drugs, cash and packaging materials were discovered. 

Langworthy is currently being held pending a hearing the San Juan County Superior Court.
