"America…All That We Share" is the theme for FH's 4th of July parade

To celebrate our community and the common ideals that connect us, San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce selected “America…All That We Share” as the theme  for the 2017 Independence Day Parade in Friday Harbor.

2016 Fourth of July parade

While observing America’s independence, the parade will honor OUR island community and the amazing people and organizations that enrich our lives.

The Chamber of Commerce is once again expecting a full roster of participants who are encouraged to positively capture the spirit of the theme.

The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on July 4th and proceed down historic Spring Street through downtown Friday Harbor. This event has been rated by national publications as one of the 10 best Independence Day Parades in the entire country, and is loved by both viewing crowds and participants alike.

More details will be forthcoming over the next several months, but we encourage all of those interested to gather your crew and begin plans now on your creative themed entries. For additional information about participating in the 2017 Friday Harbor Independence Day Parade, please email [email protected] or call Traci Wilson, Parade Coordinator at 360-298-7760 or 206-595-5104.
