San Juan Island Zip tour open for 2018 season

PRESS RELEASE: San Juan Island Zip Tour is accepting reservations for the summer season. The family-friendly zip line tour features eight-zip lines, one-suspension bridge. It  is an excellent way to experience the natural landscape and wildlife of San Juan Island.

Tours are available seven days a week. Reservations are required and can be made through our website at www.zipsanjuan.com. Each tour group is picked up two blocks from the ferry terminal in Friday Harbor and transported to the site. Upon reaching the site, guests are given an orientation and have an opportunity to practice zipping on the smaller-practice zip lines.

Throughout your tour, you will soar from platform to platform, past tall Douglas Firs and Western Red Cedars; traverse across a suspension bridge; zip line over a lake and wetland area and experience the forest from a viewpoint usually exclusive to birds.

Tours last approximately three hours, which includes travel time. The site is about 10 minutes from Friday Harbor. Rates for youth (ages 8-15) and seniors (ages 64+) are $76 and adults (ages 16-64) are $86.

The San Juan Island Zip Tour course was designed and constructed by Synergo. www.synergo.com, out of Portland, Oregon. Synergo was selected for their unique creativity, attention to detail, and adherence to international standards developed by the Association for Challenge Course Technology.
