The film, Bounty: Lopez Island Farmers, Food, and Community, will be shown at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at San Juan Island Library. Bounty tells the story of what it takes to bring food from earth to table on Lopez Island. Author Iris Graville and project manager Sue Roundy will describe how twenty-eight local farms participated in a community-funded project using photographs, narrative, and recipes to celebrate the abundance of fresh, healthy, local food. Refreshments are courtesy of the Friends of the Library. This event is free.
