Every Friday in August from 4 to 10 p.m. the second annual San Juan Summer Arts Festival takes place at Brickworks on Nichols Avenue in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. This event, a celebration of the creative talents from all of San Juan County, is sponsored by the San Juan County Arts Council and local business supporters.
Included in the festivities at this free event are more than 25 local art vendors, food from local chefs, beer from local breweries, spirits from San Juan Island Distillery, a hands-on Creation Station for the whole family, face painting, henna tattoos, and live music all night from local and visiting musicians.
