1,000 eggs, dozens of kids, loads of fun at Jacksons Beach

About 1,000 eggs, dyed by volunteers the night before and strewn amid the driftwood at Jacksons Beach, awaited San Juan Island children Sunday afternoon. The San Juan Island firefighters hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, April 16, 2017. The Bunny was there to greet children and pose for countless photos. Volunteers distributed toys in exchange for plastic eggs which had been hidden among the hard-boiled dyed eggs.
