Kathryn Madden AndersonNov. 13, 1944 to Sept. 1, 2009 Vancouver Resident, Kathleen A. Mauler, 64, died Sept. 1, 2009 from a ruptured cerebral aneurysm. Daughter of Ralph and Marie McGough, she was born in Seattle, WA on Nov. 13, 1944. She grew up in Gray's River, attending Rosburg Elementary. She graduated from Ilwaco High School in 1962. During her adult life she lived in both Lopez Island, WA, and Seaview WA, before finally moving to Vancouver in 1982. She worked as a revenue accountant for Pacific Telecom for 17 1/2 years. She was known for her love of words; puzzles, poetry, letter writing, and journals. In 1994, Kathy married Robert Mauler and they enjoyed eight wonderful years together until his death in 2002. She is survived by her two children, Gail Sprenger, of Tampa FL, and Shane (Heidi) Gardner, of Vancouver, WA, two brothers, Tom (Cindy) McGough and Monte McGough, both of Raymond, WA, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm at the Clark Co. Public Safety Complex, 505 NW 179th St. Ridgefield, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to County-Wide Chaplaincy, 21609 NE 72nd Ave. Battle Ground, WA 98604. |
