Loranel (Laurie) RetherfordApril 20, 1921 - August 2, 2007 Laurie was born in Sterling Kansas on April 20, 1921. She grew up in Portland, OR. She died August 2, 2007 in Mount Vernon, WA after being struck by illness at her home on Orcas Island. Laurie was predeceased by her husband, John, by three months. Laurie and John were sunbirds, living six months at Orcas and six months in Sun City, AZ, each year. She is survived by two brothers, three sisters, and many nephews and nieces. Everybody loved her and will miss her. |
