Friday Harbor rallied from a 13-1 deficit Tuesday, April 15, but couldn't overcome Concrete and fell 16-12 in a home Northwest 1A/2B League fastpitch contest. Concrete went up 7-0 in the first inning and added three runs apiece in the second and third frames. Friday Harbor scored a run in the third and avoided a five-inning loss by rallying seven runs in the fifth. The Lions padded their lead with three runs in the sixth inning. The Wolverines added four runs in the bottom of the seventh. Beth Ware smacked a triple and a base hit for the Wolverines. Brooke Jangard also cracked a triple. Kelsie Carlton ripped a double and stole a base. Kerri Goff hit two singles and Kiersten Radden cranked a double.
