Seahawks overpower Wolverines in fastpitchClass 2A Anacortes overpowered Friday Harbor 14-1 in non-league fastpitch Friday, May 2. "That's the best team I've ever seen," Friday Harbor coach Kevin Carlton said of the hard-hitting Seahawks. "They're a powerhouse." Carlton labeled the loss a confidence-booster for the Wolverines. "I don't like losing but I don't mind if you play well," Carlton said. Friday Harbor softball team blasts Evergreen LutheranFriday Harbor scored nine runs in the second inning and went on to a 18-4 victory at Evergreen Lutheran Wednesday, April 30. Kiersten Radden singled and tripled in the second, driving in four runs for the Wolverines. She finished 4-for-5 for the Wolverines, who finished with 20 hits. Beth Ware cracked a base hit and solo homer in the second. Kelsie Carlton went 4-for-5. Brooke Jangard and Kerri Goff each hit a pair of singles. Sunny Pascoe, Ellie Guard, Lola Elford and Maggie Anderson each ripped base hits. Goff pitched a strong game for the Wolverines, walking only one batter.
