Friday Harbor fastpitch team nips Coupeville

Plays in Sub-District Tourney Saturday in Sedro-Woolley

Kerri Goff smacked a two-run homer and also earned the win as Friday Harbor eliminated Coupeville 3-1 in a playoff Friday, May 9, 2008. The Wolverines advance to the Sub-District No. 1 action at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10 against Nooksack Valley at Janicki Fields in Sedro-Woolley. If they Wolverines win, they play in the championship against the winner of a contest between Meridain and Lynden Christian at 2 p.m. The losers of the first-round games play in a loser-out consolation game at 2 p.m.
