May 31: Legal Codes and Talking Trees

Katrina Jagodinsky talks about her book, Legal Codes and Talking Trees,  at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at San Juan Island Library. Her enlightening history is the first to focus on indigenous women of the Southwest and Pacific Northwest and the ways they dealt with the challenges posed by the existing legal regimes of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
