August 1: Film: "#I Am Not Your Negro" at SJCT

SJCT Summer Film Series presents a screening of "#I Am Not Your Negro"   at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 1 at Whittier Theatre at San Juan Community Theatre.

Writer James Baldwin tells the story of race in modern America with his unfinished novel, Remember This House. Director Raoul Peck's documentary, nominated for an Oscar in 2017, is an introduction to Baldwin’s work and an advanced seminar in racial politics; with the voice of Samuel L. Jackson.

Film is 1 hours and 33 minutes long.

Tickets - Adult/$8; Under 25/$5 - can be purchased online or at the box office
