August 22: Film: "Neruda" at SJCT

SJCT Summer Film Series presents a screening of "Neruda "   at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 22 at Whittier Theatre at San Juan Community Theatre.

In this biographical crime drama, an inspector hunts down Nobel Prize-winning Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda, who becomes a fugitive in his home country in the late 1940s for joining the Communist Party.

Film is 1 hours and 47 minutes long. Rated R

Tickets - Adult/$8; Under 25/$5 - can be purchased online or at the box office
