Memory Cafe: Fingers and Fur takes place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 19 at San Juan Island Library meeting room. This event is free. Connect with the wild around you! Visit the Library for a hands-on activity with Shona Aitken of the Wolf Hollow Wildlife Centre. Shona will provide information about some of the wild animals who share our island environment. You will have a chance to feel furs from different animal pelts, and you'll learn some differences between land mammals and aquatic animals. The Library offers Memory Cafe as enriching entertainment and a social opportunity for people with memory issues and their caregivers.
