We have an immediate opening for a full-time Vacuum Deposition Technician to join our growing team.

The Vacuum Deposition Technician is responsible for a broad range of duties including:

Operate vacuum coating chambers to a production schedule

Set up and run processes – thermal evaporation, DC and RF sputtering, and plasma technologies

Troubleshoot problems in vacuum deposition processes and equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

Maintain extremely detailed and accurate process records

Perform metrology on thin films

Perform maintenance and cleaning of vacuum system equipment

Perform facility maintenance

Minimum B.S. in Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemistry, or similar area

Ability to juggle multiple demands and timelines without sacrificing quality is critical

U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Good mechanical aptitude

Ability to work safely with a range of chemicals
