Eileen, 92, passed away peacefully in her home in Friday Harbor, WA. Eileen was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana, where she joined the Air Force after a couple of years of community college. She was stationed at Lackland Air Force base in Texas, where she met and married John Mays.

They moved to Spokane, where she worked as a receptionist for a chiropractor, and later for an insurance company. She had two children, Michelle (Mikki) and Kevin.

In 2007, after the death of her second husband Fred, she moved to Friday Harbor to be closer to her daughter. She bought a house at the Oaks, and enjoyed living there greatly, making lots of friends, both human and canine. Her favorite things were taking walks, puttering in her beautiful garden, and drinking wine, (not necessarily in that order).

She is survived by her daughter Mikki (and Larry), her grandchildren Ryan (and Mindy), Lindsay, and her great-granddaughter, Chelsey.
