The 2026 San Juan County Fair opened Thursday, August 13, 2026 under bright skies. Fairgoers searched the exhibits looking to see if their entries had been awarded ribbons. The crowd in the skate park watched the ever-entertaining Zucchini 500, rode carnival rides, listened to musicians, viewed the hundreds of entries in the Main Building. The Trash to Treasure exhibition featured creations. The 4-Hers cared for their animals in the sheep, chicken, cow barns. And to finish off the end of the day, equestrians demonstrated their horses’s skills in the horse games.
