Jordan was born in Mount Vernon, Washington and spent his childhood in Friday Harbor, Washington. As a child, he loved all the things little boys love: playing sports, being outside, and galivanting with his brother, Tyler, and their friends. After graduating from Friday Harbor High School in 2016, he set his sights on Pullman, WA and received his bachelor’s degree in advertising all while spending summers working at Friday Harbor Market Place.
Shortly after graduating from Washington State University, he had an opportunity to discover his talent and love for welding with Western Industrial Contractors’ fabrication shop and then went on to have a successful career in advertising, most recently with VENDO, a family-oriented company. Jordan spent the last 3 years traveling throughout the United States and making countless friendships, spreading his contagious smile and unforgettable laugh while sharing the knowledge he had gained in the industry.
As a man, Jordan was multifaceted in his passions. He loved creating, whether it was art in every form, a delicious meal for family and friends, or a new racetrack on Xbox. He loved to hustle people in pool while listening to "dad rock". Jordan believed in kindness, in lifting the people up around him and encouraging them to do whatever they dreamed of but were afraid to reach for. Most of all, Jordan believed in laughter. Unabashed, loud, with his whole body (and yours too).
Jordan also believed in volunteering and giving back to his community. He spent several winters coaching and officiating for a youth basketball program and the summers coaching at a youth basketball camp, and volunteering with the Ouray and Ridgway Fire Department during their annual 4th of July parade. If you ever needed a hand, he was the first to stretch his out. He was bold in his kindness and empathy for others.
Jordan’s legacy will continue to live on within the stories his family and friends share with others. He was a light to so many, leaving this world all the more brighter. To know him was to know laughter, courage and unconditional love.
He is survived by so many loving family members and dear friends around the world. There will be several celebrations of life, including one in Benton/Little Rock, Arkansas at the end of May 2025 and one in the Pacific Northwest in the Summer 2025.
