Margaret Irene Brown

Margaret Irene Brown, 87, of Woodinville, WA died Sunday morning 3 May 2026 peacefully at home. She was born 12 July 1938 in Redlands, CA, the daughter of Harold Chandler Brown and Wilma Ruth Bonner.

She married Edward Harold Durbin 26 Sep 1956 and had three sons, Edward Michael, Daniel Andrew, and Patrick Allen Durbin. She married John Robert Grainger 24 Aug 1964 and had Kenneth Richard Grainger. She married Kurt Charles and had Kuren Charles, and raised a stepson Kevin Kurt Charles.

Throughout her life, she delved into arts and crafts and produced may works of art. She operated art stores in South Pasadena, CA, Des Moines, WA, and Friday Harbor, WA (Ravenhouse).

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands. She is survived by her five sons and six grandchildren: Nikole, Brian, and Matthew Durbin; Meghan and Lucas Grainger, and one great grandchild, Fredrick Durbin. Additionally, three step-grand children Gabby, Niko, and Katie Charles. The family thanks Evergreen Hospice for their compassionate care. A memorial will be placed next to her father at Hillside Cemetery, Redlands, CA.
