According to the San Juan County Department of Health and Community Services there have been seven more COVID-19 cases since March 11, 2022. This brings the March total to 41. By comparison, the January total was 474. The total for the entire pandemic is 1,254. There have been two deaths.
On San Juan Island there were 664, Orcas Island 396, Lopez Island 174, Shaw Island 8, outer islands 9.
Actively monitored cases are those cases involving confirmed positive individuals who are still in the infectious period of their illness, are required to remain in isolation, and are being carefully monitored by San Juan County public health staff. An individual can have ongoing long-term symptoms of COVID and no longer be infectious.14 on San Juan Island, and one on Orcas.
