91 COVID cases in San Juan County this month, vaccination info

As of June 21, 2022 according to the San Juan County Health and Community Services COVID dashboard, there have been 1,731 cases in San Juan County since the first case was reported in March 2020.  There have been 919 on San Juan Island, 525 on Orcas Island, 267 on Lopez Island, 9 on Shaw Island, 10 on outer islands.

Actively Monitored Cases are those cases involving confirmed positive individuals who are still in the infectious period of their illness, are required to remain in isolation, and are being carefully monitored by San Juan County public health staff. As of June 21, there are six such cases on  Lopez Island,  seven on Orcas Island, and 17 on San Juan Island.


San Juan County Health and Community Services will be releasing additional COVID-19 appointment times on the first business day of each month (July 1 and August 1) at 10 AM. (All June appointments are full)

The registration page for appointments on July 12 on San Juan Island is active now. 

These appointment are available for 1st, 2nd, and booster COVID-19 vaccine doses for all ages; however, priority will be given to children under 18 years. If the appointments are filled for the month, SJC H&CS encourages you to reach out to your physician’s office or pharmacy to inquire about availability.
