Real Estate Transactions in the San Juan Islands - December 21-31, 2018

Five sales of property in the hamlet of Olga on Orcas Island including one for $1.85 million  are included in the final days of 2018. Also notable were a $2.85 million sale and a $1.15 million sale on San Juan Island. 

The information is gathered from the Real Estate Excise Tax forms submitted to San Juan County's Treasurer's Office. The sale amount is in bold and the dollar amount in parentheses is the assessed value according to the county Assessor's office.


Kathleen Bartholomew of Friday Harbor sold 418 Cessna Avenue on San Juan Island to Joseph and Roxanne LaBeau of Overton, Nevada for $1,150,000 ($1,122,710)

Margaret Russel of Orcas Island sold 272 Orcas Hill Road on Orcas Island to Ronald Rebman and Mary Russell-Rebman of Eastsound for $400,000 ($340,000)

Frank and Patricia Penwell of Friday Harbor sold 537 Kelsandro Circle on San Juan Island to Homes For Islanders of Friday Harbor for $75,000. ($61,710).

Joseph and Sandra Ridge of Anacortes sold 541 Kelsandro Circle on San Juan Island to Homes For Islanders of Friday Harbor  for $60,000 ($61,710)

Lance Campbell of Seattle sold 358 Peapod Lane in Olga on Orcas Island to Paul Schaller of Clinton, Washington for $70,000.


Diedre O'Sullivan of Friday Harbor sold 62 Vista Way on San Juan Island to Kurt and Peggy Long of Brown Island for $442,000 ($448,000)

Island Heritage LLC of Friday Harbor sold property on Dexter Lane on San Juan Island to Esther and Steven Brumsickle of Friday Harbor for $200,000 ($448,070)

Keybank National Association and Mack H Henry successor co-trustee of the Christopher Michael Henry Support Protective Irrevocable Grantor Trust of Clover, South Carolina sold 2205 Obstruction Pass in Olga on Orcas Island to Stephen Schaefer, trustee of the Stephen Schaefer Revocable Trust and Nancy Schaeffer, trustee of the Nancy Schaeffer Revocable Trust of Olga for $1,850,000 ($1,438,220)

Michael Cummings of Olga sold 765 Peavine Way in Olga on Orcas Island to Nathan and Jessica Garretson of Anacortes for $195,000 ($280,620)

Chris Mosler of Haleiwa, Hawaii sold 560 Warbass Way on San Juan Island to Michael Gladstein of Friday Harbor for $2,850,000 

Thomas Icabone and Brian Smith of Gig Harbor sold 290 WIllows Lane on San Juan Island to Frederick Zimmermann and Sarah Stein, trustees of the Stein Zimmerman Family Trust of Santa Monica for $370,000 ($278,100). 

Liam and Merry-Ann Keane of Friday Harbor sold 73 Pearlie Lane on San Juan Island to Jesse and Leonora Diller of Seattle for $479,000 ($374,240)

Stephen and Christine Carter of Lopez Island sold property on Lopez Island to Charles and Milia Prince of Lopez Island for $180,000.
