WSF Call Center reopens Jan. 29; Spring reservations postponed until Feb. 5 Featured

The Washington State Ferries Call Center will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020 and operate under its regular business hours (7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). The center was evacuated yesterday because of strong fumes from some construction.

Despite the reopening of the call center on Wednesday, the spring vehicle reservations release will still be postponed to next week at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020. They cover the period from March 28 to June 20. 

Reservations are in a three-tier system. The first 30 percent of spaces for each sailing can be reserved two months before a new schedule begins. The second 30 percent of spaces can be reserved two-weeks prior to a specific sailing. The third 30 percent of spaces open up for reservations two days prior to a specific sailing. The last 10 percent are left unreserved for use for emergencies and drive-ups. 

Customers can still call 206-464-6400 for automated schedule and fare information. Customers needing to make reservations or purchase tickets before the call center opens at 7 a.m. tomorrow are strongly advised to do so online. WSF apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks you for your patience.
