San Juan County has many job openings including Planning Director vacancy

Even before the Community Development and Planning Director was abruptly fired on Friday, May 5, 2023, San Juan County's official website had more than 18 openings on its employment web page. We've posted the job openings on San Juan Islander's classified ads Help Wanted page. Unfortunately there is very little housing available. 

Also in the classifieds, A Volvo key and fob with San Juan Library tab, blue metal cylinder, and West Advantage tab attached were found in Anacortes and are being held at the Anacortes Police Department (360) 293-4684.

We'll have more information on Monday about the Planning Director firing assuming we are able to find out more.

    Nobody wants to work for the corrupt county government.
