Nat'l Cancer Institute: No link between cell phones and cancer

"Studies thus far have not shown a consistent link between cell phone use and cancers of the brain, nerves, or other tissues of the head or neck according to the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health. More research is needed because cell phone technology and how people use cell phones have been changing rapidly.

It is generally accepted that damage to DNA is necessary for cancer to develop. However, radiofrequency energy, unlike ionizing radiation, does not cause DNA damage in cells, and it has not been found to cause cancer in animals or to enhance the cancer-causing effects of known chemical carcinogens in animals."
