San Juan Islands Sheriff's Log June 15-21: Threatening behavior in Eastsound, Disorderly conduct in Friday Harbor, unsafe driving

San Juan County Deputies responded to 177 calls from June 15-21, 2022 including: All of the Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a mental call in the Eastsound area. The individual claimed to have a rifle and was going to start kicking in doors and shooting residents and responding officers. The subject was taken into custody without incident. No firearm was located. | San Juan deputies responded to a report of Disorderly Conduct in Sunshine Alley. A subject known to deputies was yelling loudly and cursing. The person appeared extremely intoxicated and possessed open liquor containers. They were issued an infraction for Consuming Alcohol in Public. | A San Juan deputy stopped a vehicle for passing a line of approximately eight cars on the blind curve and hill at Tucker Ave and University Rd - a No Passing Zone. The driver was issued an infraction for Passing in a No Passing Zone.
