It takes many little hands to dye 125 dozen eggs

Friday Harbor Firefighters Association had little help - literally - in dyeing 1,500 eggs for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Jacksons Beach. Several very young islanders were up to their elbows in buckets full of colorful dye Friday evening at the Town Fire Hall.

In no time at all the 125 dozen eggs were resplendent in a rainbow of colors. The hunt starts promptly at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jacksons Beach. The Easter Bunny and a fire engine will be there. Plastic eggs are traded in for prizes and the colorful dyed eggs are taken home. Please bring a can for the Friday Harbor Food Bank.
