Dozens of kids scoop up hundreds of eggs at Jacksons Beach

The 1,500 dyed eggs disappeared quickly as about 10 dozen kids scrambled over the driftwood on Jacksons beach Easter Sunday and filled their baskets with eggs. Hidden among the hard-boiled eggs were plastic eggs redeemable for toys provided by the San Juan Island Firefighters Association.

Watching the kids at the prize bins, deciding which toy to pick appeared to be a more difficult task than finding the eggs in the first place.
