How to help Crows Nest rebuild
How to help Crows Nest rebuild. The 10-year-old Friday Harbor coffee shop was destroyed in the April 7 fire. There is a GoFundMe fundraiser underway to raise funds to rebuild the business.

Crows Nest was a small, family-run business that Jon and Mary Hurley opened 10 years ago with nothing but an espresso machine and a dream. Through dedication to their mission of serving high quality coffee from a community hub in the heart of downtown, Crows Nest became a staple of the Town of Friday Harbor.
The uniqueness of the Crows Nest —from handmade menu boards and counter tops to old photographs and nautical antiques lining the walls—will make it difficult to replicate the original magic that made the coffee shop so special. But with the help of the incredible San Juan Island community, they hope to rise from the ashes and begin again.
As of Monday evening, April 11, 2022, $4,015 has been donated by 41 people. https://gofund.me/a90eadf5
