December 2: Friday Harbor Atelier invites public to its 5th Year Celebration
“This year we are celebrating our 5th Anniversary as an art community. After the past few years, more than ever we want to celebrate local small businesses and encourage islanders to give the gift of handmade art for the holidays,” says artist Debbie Daniels.
The artists of the Friday Harbor Atelier (313 Spring St., Friday Harbor), invite the public to a Holiday Open House and Art Sale on Friday, December 2nd, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Holiday open hours will be December 3rd, 10th, and 17th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The show will be on display through January 6th, 2023, and open other days by appointment by emailing us at fridayharboratelier@gmail.com.
More than a dozen artists will be on hand to open their studios - “where the magic happens” - or present their work in the gallery space for sale, with styles and themes from portrait to landscapes, florals and animals, to abstract fine art. There will also be a selection of cards, fine art prints, tote bags and other unique gifts.
Member artists of the Atelier (ah-tell-yay’, French for “studio”) include Gretchen Allison, Rita Althoff, Shannon Borg, Mary Bruce, Debbie Daniels, Alison Engle, David Harsh, Lori Hellstrom, Pam Hoke, Lisa Lamoreaux, Laura & Sammy Long, Jan Murphy, Teresa Smith, Dolly Sundstrom.
