October 26-November 5: Friday Harbor Film Festival

Its time to prepare to live vicariously through exciting documentary films at the 2023 Friday Harbor Film Festival. The 60-page full-color printed program is available on the outdoor rack at the Festival office (10 First St.) and in many businesses in Friday Harbor and around San Juan Island.  If you are on any Washington State ferry, you can pick up a copy of the guide from the literature rack.
New this year, FHFF’s website, FHFF.org presents an interactive flip-book of the program as well as full details about all the films and events. Look through it now to plan your festival.  Tickets and Passports are available now on the website.
FHFF is offering a special FREE event for our local community – an afternoon and evening of short films grouped by theme at the Grange on Thursday, October 26.  Films about the environment will start at 1 pm. Marine ecology documentaries will begin at 4 pm. Tales from the Heart films will screen at 7 pm.
All YOUNG FILMMAKERS SHOWCASE entries will be available FREE online starting at 10 am on Thursday, October 26 at fhff.org.  This special group of films by aspiring filmmakers will continue to be offered free throughout the festival, ending on November 5.
