Born November 22, 1919 in Kent, Washington, June lived in Washington all of her life. She married William (Roy) Teller shortly after high school. They had three children before he was drafted into the Army in WWII and was killed in action in the Philippines.
June later married Larry Erholm and they had one child. She was best known for her musical career, which began publicly at 11 years of age playing the piano in a combo formed by her older brother. June stayed active musically throughout her school years. She played piano with Harold Knudson's band at the Holiday Ballroom in Burlington and with Harry Lindbeck and his band at Seven Cedars in Mt. Vernon.
June moved on to a solo career of singing and playing piano from Rosario Resort on Orcas Island to Olympia and nearly everywhere in between. Her scrapbook records her musical life from high school dances to piano bars to her last job before retiring at the Elks Club in Everett with many notes and letters from servicemen to movie stars who loved her and her music.
June was preceded in death by her husbands and two sons, Gary Erholm (died 2006) and Mick Erholm (died 2010).
She is survived by daughter, Karen Moe; son-in-law, Arnold Moe; daughter, Sandi Teller; daughters-in-law, Kathy Erholm and Karen Erholm; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
