Gloria May Louden 1929-2023 Memorial Mass 2 p.m. September 29
Gloria Louden passed away peacefully the morning of May 14, 2023. Gloria was born and raised in Friday Harbor and spent her life on the island. She worked for Vic’s Drive In for 34 years and was well known for her potato salad. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by sons Robert Murray and wife Candis Murray, Jeff Louden and Tim Louden, four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Ben and May Boyce, first husband Homer Granville (Bud) Murray, second husband Richard Louden, daughter Cheryl Murray, brother Bob Boyce, daughter-in-law Claudia Louden, and son Kurt Louden.
We would like to thank Birchview Memory Care for the excellent care she received from the staff and management for the last years of her life.
A memorial mass is planned for the end of September.
