Next on the agenda is Venus in Leo squared up with Uranus in Taurus, beginning right around Thursday and going into next week. We recently encountered this alignment when Venus was retrograde; it is fairly intense and involves spontaneity, impulsiveness, a desire to break out of the norm, big expectations, sudden romance or a wandering eye and other unexpected behaviors.

Mars in Libra, though weak, favors Venus and will help balance out the square with reason and some amount of mental capacity but not by much since Mars is in his detriment in Libra. 

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out!

Aries (March 21- April 19): Another active week for you with varying alignments to keep things interesting. The Grand Trine of last week between Sun, Uranus and Pluto will be with us through Friday and keep things humming along. Venus in Leo (your sector of Creative Expression/Children) is approaching a difficult alignment with Uranus in Taurus (your sector of Finances/Resources) and this could prompt an impulsive spendout of some sort, or a sudden expense, so watch your pennies. Your Ruler Mars in your sector of Relationship is still in a nice alignment to Venus, and this helps immensely. Whatever the financial thing is, the two of you will likely be in agreement.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Last week’s grand Trine between the Sun, Uranus and Pluto holds through Friday, and this keeps you on an even keel as far as maximum return for minimal effort. Venus in Leo (your sector of Home) is coming up to a difficult aspect with chaotic Uranus in your sign; this may cause a meltdown or two as an existential conundrum challenges you. This alignment will last through next week so buckle your seat belt. Mars in Libra (your sector of Partnership) is nicely aligned with Venus, so this will take the edge off via those who understand you best. Your support system is strong. 

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Last week’s Grand Trine between the Sun, Uranus and Pluto is still holding through Friday, keeping you grounded and focused. Venus in Leo (your sector of Thinking/Communication) is coming up to a difficult angle to Uranus in Taurus (your sector of Endings/New Beginnings), indicating that something you are trying to finish just isn’t letting go of you. This alignment will last into next week, so stay with it and don’t try to shove it aside because it will just keep coming back. Chances are the solution lies within you, so pay attention to your thoughts. Mars in Libra helps you from your sector of Creative Expression/Children by being in a nice alignment to Venus, helping you bring out your creative aspect to face challenges.

Venus in Leo (your sector of Endings/New Beginnings) is coming up to a difficult alignment to Uranus in Taurus (your sector of Expansion/Travel). This may spur you to take a trip you had to postpone in the past and it may be a spur of the moment decision. This alignment encourages impulsiveness and spontaneity, so don’t be surprised to find yourself being uncharacteristically impulsive this week and next.

This indicates you and your S/O both being thrust into the limelight somehow, whether expected or not. Attention will be drawn to you both. Mars in Libra (your sector of Endings/New Beginnings) is well aligned with Venus, indicating that a new leaf is being turned over and it’s a step in the right direction.

Venus in Leo (Relationship) is coming up to a difficult angle to Uranus in Taurus (your sector of Home), and this indicates some spur of the moment decisions or choices in your home life with your S/O, complete with big expectations. This alignment goes into next week. Mars in Libra (your sector of Expansion/Travel) favors Venus now, so if your plans include travel, it looks good but leave the rose colored glasses behind.

You’re still feeling the ease of it as well as the speed with which things are happening. Venus in Leo (your sector of Work/Health) is coming up to a difficult angle to Uranus in Taurus (your sector of Thinking/Communication). This may prompt you to speak before you think at times and put yourself in awkward situations on the work front, or if you have a doc visit you may find yourself tongue tied or talking about anything other than what’s wrong with you. Mars in Libra (your sector of Partnership) favors Venus now, so someone fortunately has your back.

Who is Triana?

Triana is a professional astrologer and amateur astronomer who has had a lifelong love for the stars and planets, mythology, philosophy and science.

Due to her mother’s interest in astrology and metaphysics, Triana had access to a large library growing up and cut her teeth on Aesop’s Fables, a set of the Classics that her grandfather gave her and Greek mythology. By the time she was in the 6th grade she was playing with astrology and reading charts for her friends at school. 

Upon completing her university studies in biochemistry, Triana relocated to the United Kingdom in 1988 and began to study the patterns of the stars recorded in the landscape of Great Britain in the form of stone monuments. Using survey maps and a compass, Triana made her way from the islands of Scotland down to Cornwall and made good use of British astrology books and astrological groups and congresses led by the top astrologers of the 20th century. By the time she was 35, Triana’s own style of interpreting the angles and aspects of the planets began to emerge. She began to receive serious attention in the UK for her astrological prowess and she flourished.

In 1996 Triana found success in writing weekly horoscopes through a small newspaper on Lopez Island, WA. Fairly quickly her name spread and her clientele increased, enabling her to travel to different places in Washington State to give presentations and conduct personal readings. Her clientele spanned from the UK to Canada as well as the United States. Visitors came to Lopez Island from afar as she herself became a destination in the islands.

Triana has been featured on television, radio and in newspapers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the UK.
