Avatar_DavidBentley You know how your mind will sometimes worry about the silliest, little questions? Well, that's what been happening to me. I just had one dumb, little question, but it has troubled me all week. I've waked up wondering about it. I've thought about it at work. I've asked friends about it. I've dreamed about it. Yet I still haven't come up with a good answer, and the question doesn't seem ready to go away.

"So," you ask, "what was the question?"

Well, I wanted to know how the Easter Bunny gets to my house. Does it live on the island? If so, where? Does it have to take a ferry to get here? If so, which one? Does it have some special mode of transportation like Santa Claus? If so, what is it?

The questions just keep popping up, and there are all sorts of things to consider. Why does the Easter Bunny bring chicken eggs and candy? Doesn't that silly rabbit know that such huge amounts of sugar, fat, and egg yolk will wreck a person’s health and well being? What will our doctors and psychologists say?

Someone should do something about this! Maybe we could form a committee to study the whole issue. Surely someone on the mainland has dealt with these matters before. There's bound to be an expert who can help solve problems associated with the Easter Bunny.

Of course, a consultant costs money. So we'll need to organize a bake sale or spaghetti feed to raise some funds; and we'll need a silent auction, too. I'm sure all our local artists and businesses will want to contribute some of their best items for such a worthy cause. Maybe we could invite Dr. Oz to be our keynote speaker. He'd have a thing or two to say!

How could there be so much to do all of a sudden? What was it that got all of this started? Oh, yes, I remember. I wondered how the Easter Bunny gets to my house. Hmmm, that's a really good question. I'm going to have to give that some thought.
