Donations appreciated to help San Juan Islander continue

Want to help keep SanJuanIslander.com afloat? Here are a variety of ways to donate to your locally owned independent news site.
Personally, it's been a memorable summer, I ended up with my wrist in a high-tech splint for 12 weeks (it was removable and waterproof. Highly recommend it). One-handed typing slowed me down a bit. As did the fractured ribs, and head laceration. No interesting story. Just managed to fall on three different occasions.I was lucky nothing serious happened. Really appreciated the fact we have an emergency department on island, staffed by dedicated professionals.
Anyway, back to SanJuanIslander.com. I've started a companion website - InTheSanJuans.com. It is full of details about events coming up in San Juan County. The goal is to make it easier to find info that is presently scattered. Tracking down the event info sometimes feels like a scavenger hunt. Monetizing the site is the next step.
Two other changes to improve finances. I moved my office from town to my home (forgetting how much my cat likes the keyboard). And I started a part time job at Second Act, a consignment boutique in Friday Harbor.
I'm determined to keep providing local news.
If you'd like to help, I cranked up the GoFundMe page again. Thanks in advance for your consideration. - Sharon
