Renovations at San Juan County Fair inconsistent with Master Plan
The current San Juan County administration is ignoring public input as construction is underway at San Juan County Fairgrounds. A project costing approximately $1.4 million will add restrooms and an office for the county's Emergency Operation Center to the Marie Boe building.

March 24: Celebrate the San Juan Islands National Monument 10th anniversary with a boat tour
Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of San Juan Islands National Monument with a boat tour on March 24. The tour will include views of Turn Point Light Station from the water and a stop at Posey Island (conditions permitting). Brie Chartier, manager of the San Juan Islands National Monument, will lead the tour, discuss the community engagement that helped create the monument, and share the collaborative efforts that recently resulted in a new resource management plan.
