Oct. 14: You are invited to Southern Resident Orca Community Coffee Round Table

A Southern Resident Orca Community Coffee Round Table will be held from 9 to 11 am Saturday, October 14 at  San Juan Island Grange. This 2-hour panel event hosted by San Juan County Department of Environmental Stewardship, The Marine Resources Committee, and Rep. Debra Lekanoff will offer an opportunity for community members to learn about some of the ways that local efforts are influencing regional and national policies, the importance of the islands to whales and salmon, and what kind of things we can do to collectively address the challenges that still lie ahead.

This is a free event open to the public, so bring a mug and join us bright and early on Saturday morning. There will be a virtual option for those of you not able to join in person, for zoom details please see https://www.sjcmrc.org/meetings-events/
