Friday Harbor High School boys basketball team closed the 2015-2016 season among Class 2B's eight best teams after falling 62-35 to Life Christian Academy Friday, March 4, 2015 in the state tournament in Spokane.

The Eagles (24-3) advance to the fourth-sixth place contest against Morton-White Pass (25-3).
By finishing in the elite eight Friday Harbor (19-7) matches the boys basketball program's previous best finish.
Life Christian was considered one of this year's favorites before being upset 62-57 by Lind-Ritzville/Sprague in a quarterfinal March 3. The Eagles confirmed those expectations against the Wolverines, building a 25-7 lead in the first quarter.
The Eagles offense soared most of the game while the Wolverines' struggled: Life Christian made 46 percent of its field goals; Friday Harbor shot 32 percent.
Life Christian Junior Luke Lovelady tallied his 1,000th career point during the game. He scored 19 and shared game-high honors with teammate Reid Roelofs.
Senior Luke Stromberg led the Wolverines with 12 points.
