A passenger was airlifted for future care and the driver of one of the vehicles was arrested for DUI and transported to the county holding facility. An Orcas Island deputy responded to a report of traffic offenses in the West Sound and Deer Harbor area. The Sheriff’s Office will conduct extra patrols and post a speed trailer in the reported area. A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a single vehicle accident in the town of Friday Harbor. A driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed in to a building. The driver was taken into custody for DUI, DWLS 2, and Reckless Driving. A report was completed.
