13 Wolverines boys in romp past Vikings

210-dsc_3114Thirteen Wolverines scored as Friday Harbor’s boys basketball team romped to an 89-39 victory over visiting Orcas Island Saturday, Feb. 4.

Donald Galt and Dakota Rosales shared top-scoring honors with 12 apiece for the Wolverines. Friday Harbor’s other scorers were: C.J. Woods 10, Colin Williamson 9, Otis Cooper-West 8, Steven Kelly 8, Peter Strasser 7, Vinnie Carter 7, Brandlin Allen 6, Dylan Demaris 4, Sergio Trujillo 2, Levi Demaris 2 and Bill Revercomb 2.

Jack Gates led Orcas with 12 points. The other Viking scorers were: Aubrey Schermerhorn 9, Mikail VanMaren 4, Jake Zier 3 and Cameron Schuh 3.
