Friday Harbor Volleyball going to state - 1st time since 1997

The Wolverine volleyball team is headed to Yakima next week to play in the state tournament. The team beat Morton/White Pass 3-1 Saturday, November 7, 2015 to secure the spot in the state tourney. The last time Friday Harbor High School's volleyball team competed at state was in 1997.

Wolverine volleyball squad one victory from state berth

One more victory and the Friday Harbor volleyball team clinches a spot in the Class 2B State Tournament. The Wolverines trimmed Raymond 3-2 Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Willapa Valley High School to remain alive in the Class 2B Bi-District Tournament. Wahkiakum then defeated Friday Harbor 3-0 in a consolation quarterfinal. The winner of a match between Friday Harbor and Morton-White Pass slated for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at South Bend High School gains the Bi-District’s seventh and final seed to the Class 2B State Tournament in Yakima Nov. 13-14.
